IT'S OVER!!

...at least until next year. We all hoped for good weather, but it wasn't to be. It was cold, it was windy and it was very, very, very wet. However many people braved the elements, donned their waterproofs and made the best of it. Feedback we received was all very positive despite the inclement conditions. We'd like to thank everyone who showed their hardy British spirit and didn't let the weather stop them enjoying the festival's performances (live music, street theatre, community dance groups), the international market, Veterans Day displays, carnival and of course the Hartlepool Hornpipe! You inspire us to continue to make the festival bigger and better in 2009!

That's right, we're breaking tradition and having another summer event in 2009, as part of the build up to the Tall Ships' Races 2010. Planning is well underway for the 2009 event. Website coming soon, so watch this space for more information.

Hartlepool Dockfest - Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2009

Did you attend the festival last year? If you did, you could help us by completing the online survey for the event.
